Diversity and Inclusion in Leisure Forum 2026

March 5 @ 10:00 am - 4:30 pm

Diversity and Inclusion in Leisure Forum 2026 Returns

Following the success of previous events, AUSactive, as a collaborator, is pleased to announce the return of the Diversity and Inclusion in Leisure Forum 2026. Over the past three years, the forum has welcomed more than 400 representatives from across Victoria’s aquatics, fitness, and leisure sectors.

In 2026, the Diversity and Inclusion in Leisure Forum will once again provide a dedicated space for meaningful conversation, shared learning, and practical action. The event focuses on strengthening the industry’s ability to welcome, support, and include everyone across all aspects of leisure.

Why the Diversity and Inclusion in Leisure Forum Matters

Creating inclusive leisure environments is essential for long-term community engagement, participation, and wellbeing. Therefore, the Diversity and Inclusion in Leisure Forum 2026 brings together professionals who are committed to improving access, representation, and inclusion across facilities, programs, and services.

By sharing real-world examples and tested initiatives, the forum supports organisations to move beyond intention and into measurable, sustainable change.

What to Expect at the 2026 Forum

The Diversity and Inclusion in Leisure Forum 2026 will feature a series of short, TEDx-style presentations from industry leaders and practitioners. These sessions will highlight:

  • Evidence-based diversity and inclusion initiatives
  • Programs evaluated for impact and sustainability
  • Practical insights supported by data and outcomes
  • Approaches that can be applied across aquatics, fitness, and leisure settings

As a result, attendees will leave with clear ideas and tools they can implement within their own organisations.
