Flowing Into Motherhood

Join us as we dive into the benefits of prenatal fitness and see why water is an ideal way to stay active and supported throughout pregnancy.

Aqua Aerobics is particularly effective for pre natal & post natal as it offers a wide range of therapeutic and health benefits without the hard impact of land exercise. (Post Natal= 6 weeks – 3 months, depending upon birth).

One of the key advantages of aqua aerobics is its adaptability. Regardless of a participant’s current fitness level, workouts can be easily customised by adjusting the speed, intensity, and rest intervals, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all.

Pre-natal aqua exercise combines the therapeutic properties of the water with unique techniques and moves to work the whole body in a holistic manor. In comparison to land exercise, it is far safer for mother and foetus to exercise in the water. Furthermore, continuing activity and exercising once the baby is born has many benefits including reducing the chance of developing post natal depression and stress relief.

This training will provide a comprehensive understanding of key prenatal and postnatal topics, touching on the role of hormones, the birthing process, mental health awareness, gait and posture changes and the importance of pelvic floor function for long-term wellbeing.
