What is CPD?

AUSactive now acknowledge engagement and completion of education or professional development activities as ‘Continuing Professional Development' or ‘CPD', previously referred to as Continuing Education Credits (CECs). Professionals with AUSactive CECs on course/program certificates will simply be identified as CPD points.

What is Continuous Professional Development?

Continuous Professional Development (CPD) is the ongoing process of building your professional skills and knowledge throughout your professional career. Within the exercise and active health industry CPD is essential for professionals to maintain and improve your knowledge and skillset in line with evolving trends, consumer needs, employer requirements, new research and the latest technology while also enhancing professional credibility.

AUSactive is here to support professionals regardless of what stage of your career and learning journey you’re currently at and understands learning and professional development takes place in a variety of different ways.
