Australia’s best in health and fitness celebrated at the 2025 AUSactive National Awards
Sydney came alive on Friday night as the nation’s health, fitness and wellbeing community gathered for the highly anticipated 2025 AUSactive National Awards Gala with winners crowned across 35 categories, spanning individual professionals, thriving businesses, groundbreaking programs and leading suppliers.
With a sold-out crowd of 500 industry leaders, educators, trainers and business owners, the event was a spectacular celebration of passion, innovation and excellence across the sector.
Special honours were also awarded to industry trailblazers with the presentation of the Roll of Honour and the Lifetime Membership Award.
AUSactive CEO, Barrie Elvish, said the night was a fitting tribute to the strength and spirit of Australia’s active health and fitness industry.
“The 2025 AUSactive Awards have again highlighted just how vibrant, talented and impactful our industry is. Every winner and finalist represents a standard of excellence that is driving meaningful change for individuals, communities and the nation’s health and wellbeing,” Mr Elvish said.
“To see the breadth of innovation and dedication — from our students and trainers through to long-standing leaders — is truly inspiring. These awards are not just about recognising achievement, they’re about celebrating the heart and future of our industry.”
“This year we had a 21% increase in Gala ticket sales and a 6.7% increase in award submissions submitted, showing how significant the AUSactive Awards and Gala event are becoming on our industry calendar.”
