The reporting period marked a year of strong progress, innovation and impact for AUSactive, as the organisation continued to champion a more active, healthier Australia while strengthening its position as the peak body for the exercise and active health sector.

Education and workforce development remained a cornerstone of AUSactive’s impact. The expansion of ALLactive education, including NDIS-focused training and practical learning pathways, supported members to upskill, diversify their services and better support inclusive participation in physical activity. These initiatives aligned closely with AUSactive’s advocacy for exercise as preventative healthcare and its growing influence within the broader health system.

AUSactive also delivered strong outcomes through sector advocacy and national initiatives. Campaigns such as Million Moves and Fit for Office reinforced the role of movement in improving health, wellbeing and productivity, while strengthening partnerships with government, industry and community organisations. These programs successfully engaged diverse audiences, including inactive individuals, people with chronic conditions and underrepresented groups.

Throughout the year, AUSactive continued to elevate industry voice and visibility through flagship events, strategic partnerships and high-quality content, including REACTIVATED, which showcased innovation, leadership and best practice across the sector.

Collectively, the achievements of 2024–25 demonstrate AUSactive’s ongoing commitment to building a resilient, inclusive and future-focused active health workforce—one that is well positioned to support the health and wellbeing of all Australians now and into the future.
