AUSactive Appoints Ekaterina Osipova to Board of Directors
AUSactive has announced the appointment of Ekaterina Osipova to the AUSactive Board of Directors.
This appointment follows the retirement of long-serving Board Member and former Chair Jayne Blake.
The appointment of Ekaterina Osipova to the AUSactive Board of Directors strengthens the organisation’s governance and leadership capability.
Leadership Experience of Ekaterina Osipova
Ekaterina Osipova brings more than 30 years of experience in professional services.
She has held senior leadership roles across Australia and internationally. In addition, she previously served as a Big 4 Partner.
Throughout her career, she has advised both listed and private organisations on:
- Audit
- Financial reporting
- Corporate governance
As a result, Ekaterina Osipova brings strong governance expertise to the AUSactive Board of Directors.
Supporting Purpose-Led Organisations
Ekaterina Osipova currently serves as Treasurer and Board Member of Activate Perth.
This not-for-profit organisation focuses on revitalising urban spaces and building vibrant communities. Therefore, her work reflects a strong commitment to purpose-led initiatives.
In addition, she is:
- A Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants
- A member of Chartered Accountants ANZ
- An active mentor to emerging leaders
Recognising the Contribution of Jayne Blake
The appointment of Ekaterina Osipova follows the conclusion of Jayne Blake’s term on 4 July 2025.
During her tenure, Jayne Blake played a key leadership role. Importantly, she guided AUSactive through significant transformation.
This included:
- The rebranding of AUSactive
- The challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic
- A period of organisational growth and change
As a result, her leadership has left a lasting impact on the organisation.
Board Welcomes Ekaterina Osipova
AUSactive Chair Emmett Williams welcomed the appointment.
