AUSactive Releases Updated Work Health and Safety Guide
AUSactive has released a new edition of its Work Health and Safety Guide for exercise and active health businesses.
This updated resource provides practical guidance to support safe practices across the industry. It also reflects the growing complexity of services and evolving workplace requirements.
Supporting a Changing Industry
The guide has been authored by Dr Betul Sekendiz.
Dr Sekendiz is the Managing Director of Fitness Industry Risk Management Consulting (FIRMC®), an Associate Professor at the International College of Management Sydney, and Chair of the Health and Fitness Industry Standards Council.
The new edition reflects current legal and regulatory requirements. In addition, it responds to the increasing diversity of services and workforce roles across the industry.
