Brunswick Baths & Fawkner Leisure Centre Maintain AUSactive Quality Business Accreditation
Brunswick Baths and Fawkner Leisure Centre have once again maintained their AUSactive Quality Business Accreditation.
Both centres, managed by Y Victoria, are recognised as leaders in the Australian health and fitness industry. This AUSactive Quality Business Accreditation highlights their ongoing commitment to safety, professionalism and best practice.
Importantly, maintaining AUSactive Quality Business Accreditation reflects the high-quality experiences they continue to deliver for the Merri-bek community.
Commitment to Community and Inclusion
The Y’s Active Merri-bek Area Manager, Tess Craigie, said the AUSactive Quality Business Accreditation reflects the dedication of the teams.
“Our centres are part of Merri-bek’s vision for healthier, more connected neighbourhoods,” Ms Craigie said.
“This accreditation reinforces our commitment to equity and inclusion. In addition, it ensures we create spaces where everyone feels they belong.”
She added that the centres provide more than fitness.

Brunswick Baths and AUSactive Quality Business Accreditation
Brunswick Baths continues to grow while maintaining its AUSactive Quality Business Accreditation.
The centre supports more than 4,000 members and delivers over 130 classes each week. These include group fitness, aqua, boxing and wellness sessions.
In addition, the centre is expanding. A new reformer Pilates studio and an upgraded cycle studio will provide even more opportunities for members.
Fawkner Leisure Centre and AUSactive Quality Business Accreditation
Fawkner Leisure Centre also maintains its AUSactive Quality Business Accreditation while strengthening its community focus.
The centre supports over 1,000 members and delivers more than 80 group fitness classes each week. It also operates a thriving swim school.
Importantly, many members have attended for decades. As a result, the centre has built a strong and welcoming community.

Ms Craigie said maintaining AUSactive Quality Business Accreditation reflects both quality and strong partnerships.
“We are incredibly proud of this achievement,” she said.
“It reflects our commitment to safety and quality. At the same time, it highlights our strong relationship with members and Merri-bek City Council.”

AUSactive CEO Barrie Elvish congratulated both teams on maintaining their AUSactive Quality Business Accreditation.
