Yarra Leisure Achieves AUSactive Business Accreditation Milestone
Yarra Leisure has once again demonstrated its commitment to excellence. Its facilities in Richmond, Collingwood and Fitzroy have successfully completed their third AUSactive Business Accreditation audit.
As a result, Yarra Leisure has become the first group of facilities in Australia to achieve this milestone.
This achievement highlights strong service delivery and a long-standing focus on quality programs.
A Leader in AUSactive Business Accreditation
Yarra Leisure was an early adopter of the AUSactive Business Accreditation program. The organisation completed its first audit in 2019.
Since then, it has continued to build on its success. Now, it stands as a leader in maintaining high industry standards.
AUSactive Business Accreditation is a formal process. It recognises businesses that meet strict quality standards, assessed by an independent body.
Commitment to Quality and Community
Yarra City Council Manager Recreation and Leisure Services, Sarah Harrington, said the third accreditation reflects a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
“Completing our third accreditation audit demonstrates our focus on delivering high-quality services,” Ms Harrington said.
“It also ensures our facilities are safe, inclusive and tailored to our diverse community.”
In addition, she highlighted the importance of maintaining high standards.
“This accreditation, along with our Life Saving Victoria Platinum Pools accreditation, gives the community confidence in our services.”

Ms Harrington said accreditation plays an important role in ongoing improvement.
“Continual improvement is embedded in everything we do,” she said.
“This achievement allows us to build on our strong foundations. As a result, we can continue delivering accessible, safe and affordable health and wellbeing services.”
