Registration Audit.

AUSactive Registered Exercise Professionals are required to complete a prescribed amount of continuing education (20 CECs during a 2-year registration term or 10 CECs if you hold a 12-month registration term) and maintain current nationally recognised Australian First Aid (HLTAID003 or HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID001 or HLTAID009) certifications to be eligible for re-registration.

At the time of registering, exercise professionals declare a commitment to fulfilling these requirements and maintaining relevant evidentiary records.

As a quality assurance process, AUSactive, formerly Fitness Australia, routinely conducts a random audit to check compliance with re-registration requirements. You have been selected for an audit and will be required to undertake the audit process over the coming weeks.

Upon failure to supply your documentation within 30 days OR if you are found to have not met the minimum requirements you will be deemed non-compliant. For further information on non-compliance and the appeal process, please refer to the Audit Policy for Registered Exercise Professionals.

Deferral:

AUSactive recognises that registrants may need to defer the audit due to unforeseen circumstances. To defer the audit process, the registrant must fill out and submit the AUSactive Registration Deferral Application. Those who defer the audit process will still be chosen for audit post the deferral period.
