Registration Audit.

AUSactive Registered Exercise Professionals are required to complete a prescribed amount of continuing education and maintain current nationally recognised Australian First Aid and CPR certifications to be eligible for re-registration.

Your re-registration requirements are listed below;

  • 10 CECs if you hold a 12-month registration or;
  • 20 CECs during a 2-year registration term
  • First Aid – HLTAID003 or HLTAID011 and;
  • CPR – HLTAID009
  • If your registration period has lapsed re-registration requirements include 20 CECs completed within 24 months prior to the date that you re-registered

At the time of registering, exercise professionals declare a commitment to fulfilling these requirements and maintaining relevant evidentiary records.

As a quality assurance process, AUSactive, formerly Fitness Australia, routinely conducts a random audit to check compliance with re-registration requirements. If you have received a notification via email and been sent to this page, you have been randomly selected for an audit and will be required to undertake the audit process over the coming weeks.

Upon failure to supply your documentation within 30 days OR if you are found to have not met the minimum requirements you will be deemed non-compliant. For further information on non-compliance and the appeal process, please refer to the Audit Policy for Registered Exercise Professionals.

If you have questions about the audit process, please contact [email protected]

Deferral:

AUSactive recognises that registrants may need to defer the audit due to unforeseen circumstances. To defer the audit process, the registrant must fill out and submit the AUSactive Registration Deferral Application. Those who defer the audit process will still be chosen for audit post the deferral period.
