{"id":2950,"date":"2021-11-26T20:21:10","date_gmt":"2021-11-26T20:21:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ausactive.org.au\/?p=2950"},"modified":"2022-02-25T14:46:47","modified_gmt":"2022-02-25T03:46:47","slug":"2021-roll-of-honour-inductees-announced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ausactive.org.au\/news\/2021-roll-of-honour-inductees-announced\/","title":{"rendered":"2021 Roll of Honour inductees announced"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 2021 Australian Fitness Awards Roll of Honour inductees were announced yesterday at AUSactive\u2019s (formerly Fitness Australia) Annual General Meeting in Sydney.<\/p>\n<p>The Roll of Honour recognise individuals who have made outstanding\u00a0contributions to the fitness industry in Australia.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to <strong>Elizabeth Wilson-Evered<\/strong> from Victoria University and <strong>Kristen Green<\/strong> from AQUAFIT Health Fitness \u00a0& Wellbeing who have been inducted to the AUSactive Roll of Honour.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Elizabeth Wilson-Evered<\/strong> is a Research Fellow for Health and Sport and an honorary Professor at Victoria University. Elizabeth\u2019s expertise is in areas of mental health and physical activity, leadership in sport and health business performance. Elizabeth is also a current volunteer member of the Australian Fitness Industry Standard Council, having been the Chair from 2018-2020.<\/p>\n<p>With over 30 years fitness industry experience, <strong>Kristen Green<\/strong> is an industry veteran who has had an instrumental role in leading and contributing to the Australian fitness sector\u2019s growth, development and the shaping of what it represents today.<\/p>\n<p>AUSactive CEO Barrie Elvish said it was a great privilege to announce this year\u2019s notable recipients.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInductees to the Fitness Industry Roll of Honour\u00a0are \u2018game-changers\u2019 in the fitness\u00a0industry and Elizabeth and Kristen are no exception.
