What is a Leave of Absence?
AUSactive Registered Professionals wishing to temporarily cease their delivery of health/exercise services due to medical reasons are permitted to take a leave of absence from their accreditation/registration.
AUSactive Registered Professionals are required to read and understand AUSactive's Return to Practice Policy before applying for a leave of absence.
AUSactive’s Return to Practice Policy
The credibility of the AUSactive Register of Professionals and associated policies are integral to support the professional growth of the industry, registered professionals and safeguard clients utilising the health and exercise services of registrants. AUSactive requires individuals who hold health and fitness qualifications seeking to return to practice as a AUSactive Registered Professionals to show currency of knowledge, skills and competency.
