Understanding Registration Levels

Levels

Are you registering for the first time with qualifications greater than two years old?

In the event the most recent fitness qualification you have completed is greater than two years old from the date of requested registration, you will additionally require to have accumulated the equivalence of 20 CECs in the past two years.

International Registration

Are you registering with an overseas qualification?

If you have an international qualification and you wish to register with AUSactive, you will first need to check that your qualification is eligible:

Please note that completion of an international qualification doesn’t enable direct registration. However, we do accept evidence from international registration bodies (e.g. ICREPs members, listed below).

To be eligible for registration with AUSactive, you need either of the following:

  • A current professional registration from one of the relevant ICREPs countries (listed above); or
  • A letter of portability from one of the relevant ICREPs countries (listed above), verifying that your qualification meets the registration requirements and states which registration categories you are eligible for.

If you do not have either of these, you may need to consider completing a Recognition or Prior Learning (RPL) process through a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
