Become Accredited

Supported by the AUSactive National Quality Business Framework’s six pillars, the AUSactive Quality Business Accreditation program leads businesses through the accreditation process, which includes multiple modules designed to assess, identify and assist businesses in reaching the standard set by the AUSactive National Quality Business Framework. The modules are designed to prepare businesses for the final assessment and achieving Accreditation.

Introduction to quality

The introductory component will assist businesses to better understand how quality improvement cycles embedded into daily workflows can support them to achieve greater outcomes. The introduction to quality also gives you an overview of the accreditation process and case studies from currently accredited businesses.

Understanding your customers

Businesses will be provided with a validated customer feedback tool to disseminate to their consumers. From these completed survey responses, businesses will receive a summary report of responses that are benchmarked nationally. This tool will assist in enhancing customer health outcomes and overall consumer satisfaction.

Achieving Accreditation & recognition

The final assessment of the AUSactive Quality Business Accreditation will be an onsite or virtual audit. The audit will be conducted by an objective third party assessor at a convenient time that best suits your business. Upon completion of the assessment, your business will receive a full report on the findings and outcome of the audit. Businesses that have been found to successfully meet the required standard will become accredited and be issued a 3-year continuous improvement plan. Businesses that fall marginally short will be offered an 8-week window to implement the identified required changes. Businesses that have significant deficiencies will be required to implement identified changes over a minimum of a six month period before reapplying for Accreditation.

The AUSactive Quality Business Accreditation process is simple but effective, and you will be supported throughout the process so your business can achieve success.

The accreditation cycle is a three-year program, which drives a culture of continuous improvement. Become accredited and take the first step to continuously improving your business.
