Melbourne gears up to host the 2024 Active Health Summit

Often referred to as the sporting capital of Australia, Melbourne is set to host the 2024 AUSactive Active Health Summit on Saturday 13 April – an event not to be missed for anyone in the exercise and active health sector.

The summit is dedicated to covering essential health topics, aiming to enhance the skill set of professionals working with clients dealing with all abilities, mental health, high-performing sports, men’s and women’s health, chronic health issues, injury prevention, and rehabilitation.

The summit will also be co-located with this year’s AusFitness Expo, giving participants the chance to experience Australia's biggest and most exciting festival of fitness, live sport, active health and nutrition.

AUSactive CEO Barrie Elvish said the summit promises to deliver valuable insights as well as the opportunity to discuss important industry topics with leading experts.

“The 2024 Active Health Summit will be led by renowned professors, industry experts, and allied health professionals who will share their expert knowledge and insights across a range of modalities and topics,” Mr Elvish said.

“After a hugely successful and inaugural Active Health Summit in 2023, we’ve made this one bigger and better. We’ve squeezed a tremendous amount into the schedule so there really is something for everyone.”

Shaun Krenz, Co-Founder and Event Director of AusFitness Expo, stated, “This partnership further strengthens our two-year industry alignment with AUSactive, which adds significant value to AusFitness Expo. It helps build on our mission to bring fitness communities together and further enrich the overall experience for our attendees, exhibitors, and partners.”
