AUSactive is pleased to announce the appointment of Anita Delbridge Goswell to the Australian Health and Fitness Industry Standards Council. The Standards Council is an entity that helps to advance and elevate Australia’s health and fitness industry. The council’s objectives are to develop, manage, promote and review a suite of standards, codes and guidance materials to assist the industry in managing safety and improving service quality.
Anita is the director of Lifestyle Pilates and Rehabilitation Studio, AUSactive 2022 Pilates Business of the Year. As a business director, educator, allied health professional and Pilates method teacher, she is dedicated to mentoring business operators, educating professionals and clients on correct movement patterns to have the best quality of life possible.

We would also like to thank retiring volunteer council member Professor Patrick Keyzer, Dean of Law and Professor of Law and Public Policy at ACU, who has been an integral leader within the Council. As the expert presenter, Professor Keyzer is a familiar face of risk management iLearn education modules; units included within our professional accreditation program. Patrick has also led research for AUSactive, including being the lead Chief Investigator on the Australian Fitness Industry Risk Management (AFIRM) Project, funded by the Australian Research Council.
