We thank the remaining candidates for their applications and commitment to AUSactive. With such a high calibre of candidates that contested this year’s election, we see as an endorsement of the role that AUSactive plays to lead and elevate the Australian health and exercise industry.
We acknowledge our Business Members who participated in this vote, which achieved a record vote count – thank you for contributing your feedback and supporting the work of AUSactive.
Finally, we wish to thank all our volunteer Directors, in particular, to departing Directors Greg Oliver and Edwina Griffin, who will complete their terms on 20 November 2023. Greg and Edwina’s passion for the industry has shone, as they have generously volunteered their time to advancing the strategic direction of AUSactive and the entire industry. We wish both Greg and Edwina every success in the future and look forward to both of them staying actively involved to support AUSactive as we make further progress in executing the strategic objective of advocating for a healthier Australia.
