Industry celebrates at sold-out Gala Event

The active health and exercise industry’s peak association, AUSactive, has today announced nominations are now open for its 2023 Board Elections ahead of the Annual General Meeting on 20 November 2023.

On Monday 4 September 2023, Federal Member of Parliament Helen Haines launched AUSactive’s Fit for Office Campaign at Parliament House in Canberra alongside Senator the Hon Anne Ruston, Ms Allegra Spender, Senator David Pocock, Hon Dr Andrew Leigh, Hon Melissa McIntosh and Senator Dorinda Cox.

This months advocacy update focuses on Pat Farmer “Run for the Voice”, Review of the ACT Fitness Industry Code of Practice, Review of the Franchising Code of Conduct, and an update on AUSactive's Meeting with Service NSW

More than 14 Federal parliamentary members and 70 of their staff have so far signed up for the four-week friendly challenge from 25 September to 22 October to encourage Aussies to be active more often and raise awareness of the importance of regular physical activity.

AUSactive is thrilled to announce the 2023 Digital Futures consultation launch, a pioneering initiative aimed at empowering AUSactive members and the broader Australian health and fitness sector.

The Queensland Finalists in this year’s AUSactive National Awards 2023 have been named, showcasing the best fitness professionals, business owners and industry experts from right across the state.
