Registration is for one year commencing on the date your application is accepted and is renewable on the anniversary of the date for a subsequent year.

All registration fees must be paid annually in advance.

AUSactive Registered Professional: AUSactive professionals may be employed or contracted by an exercise facility or studio, or maybe self-employed and working across a variety of typical settings for service delivery, depending on registration category and scope of practice (e.g. outdoor public space, community centres, client homes, workplaces).

Sole Trader registration enables registered professionals to build and promote their business to the public. Sole trading professionals have an ABN and are self-employed, delivering services to clients in a variety of settings. Sole trading professionals might own and run their business independently but may also have contracted staff and/or a business partner.

Sole Trading Business registration combines professional registration together with a range of services and benefits to help Sole Trading build a successful business.

Business registration accommodates all studio and fitness centre models, providing dedicated support to achieve high-quality business standards together with an array of services and resources to promote business success.

A requirement of business registration is that all individuals who deliver exercise services maintain current professional registration.
